"My interest for health care started by watching my mom, who is a nurse. I loved watching her interact with her patients and take care of them and get to know them. I knew I wanted to help people the same way my mom did, but I also knew I wanted to do something a little different."

What I love about practicing at McFarland’s:
McFarland’s feels like home to me. I’m from Arkansas and I love being able to stay in my home state doing what I love.
Favorite part of my job:
There are so many things I love about practicing Optometry! I think what I enjoy most is the combination of eye health and overall health.
The service at McFarland is superb. They are so professional on every level. Dr. Shaw and the entire team are very Porsha thorough and informative, and I was in such good hands. Thank you all for your smiling, friendly and welcoming greeting.
Everyone was very professional from the front desk, to being tested, and the visit from Dr. Shaw.
